Thoughts & Advice for Freshmen Year

It is now almost the end of summer, which means back to school time for most of us who are still college-aged. I can now almost officially call myself a college sophomore, so I want to impart some of my newfound “wisdom” now that I’m no longer a wide-eyed, bushy tailed freshman. (more…)

My Freshmen Year in Pictures

It’s so crazy to think that my first year at Cornell is now officially over. I took a moment to read last year’s (Senior year) reflection on this blog, look at graduation pictures, etc… and I think I left high school feeling uncertain about what the future will bring, but this year has crushed those uncertainties and replaced them with a lot of joy and aspirations and positive vibes.

Asia Night 2016 as an MC

It’s so odd to be writing another blog post so soon within the last posting date~ but, I’ve been meaning to document my life at Cornell for the longest time in more ways than just through Facebook/journaling, so this is just another attempt for me to you know, do that.

Asia Night is one of the biggest events of the semester, and this year it drew more than 1,000 people. I got the very, very special honor of being an MC for the event. I got to introduce all of the acts with my co-MC and friend, Dustin, and sit in the best seat ever to watch the performances. I also got to stall (a harder job than I thought it would be) while different groups set up and take down their equipment, raffle off prizes, and low-key (or high-key, I dunno) embarrass myself as I told cheesy jokes.
